Mercy and Grace
Mercy
God’s withholding of judgment on the world because of sacrifice of
His Son Jesus.

compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an

the discretionary power of a judge to pardon someone or to mitigate
punishment,
3.
something that gives evidence of divine favor; blessing:
Matthew 5:7
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. (1)
Luke 1:50
And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to
generation.(2)
Ephesians 2:4
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved
us,(2)
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may
obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (3)

Grace
God’s unmerited favor to the world because of the sacrifice of His
Son Jesus

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by

INVESTMENT FOR AN ETERNITY

Mezcala 2016 Missions Trip To Mexico My dream now for 2016 is to return to Mezcala, Mexico and finish the church that was part of the vision of my friend Clinton Hendershot. The trip did not happen due to my daughter being treated for breast cancer; however, she is cancer free now and we can move on with a trip.

The Journey
In
January Michelle let me and her mom and a bunch of friends know
that she had a cancerous tumor in her breast.
For several minutes I was numb and could not move.
Then the Spirit of the Lord spoke this verse to me in
assurance that all was well.
I went out and made caps that said "WE WIN".
2 Timothy 1:77 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but
of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
While many worried and rightfully so, I stood on this promise
and believed things would be fine.
Going through all the sixteen trips to Lynchburg for
treatments and watching not only Michelle but many, many others
going through this battle, God had a platform to show Himself as
God.
Michelle had her lumpectomy on Tuesday and today the doctor
advised her that she is cancer free.
Hallelujah WE WIN with God.
God is faithful and He kept reminding me of this other verse to
keep focus.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the
son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he
not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Thanks to all who have prayed for us to the God that never fails.
Special thanks to Katherine and Lacy, Longwood University,
Virginia Tech Softball, Liberty University, Dr. Ploch, Dr.
Patell, and All the
nurses at Centra Cancer Center. It has been six months of
fighting but God had told Michelle to stand and see the
salvation of the Lord and she has seen it.
Being thankful is such a small word at this time.
