"Hands Up Ministry' s Season

 Ecclesiastes
Chapter 3

1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

11 He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

The vision of Hands Up was conceived in the early morning hours of October 22, 1999 while Tom Meadows was at the Homestead Adventure “Creating the Future”.  He announced the dream of Hands Up to the group before Vice President Dave Milby and the body of PM employees at the morning meeting.  The birth of Hands Up occurred today January 13, 2000 at 12:15 p.m. in the MC Basement 1 Conference Room with founding members:  Julia Candia, Deedre Dickerson, Richard Hatcher. Margie Jasper, Ruth Johnson, Tom Meadows, Ronnie Waddell, and Tyris Williams

The season of blessing for Hands Up Ministry has come full circle and the circumstances of life have brought us to the end as we once knew it on the job and in the harvest.

As the scripture says a time for every purpose and that time is now to end.  But I am encouraged that HE gave us fifteen years of ministry on the job and we gave HIM the glory.

The scripture also says HE has made everything beautiful that Hands Up Ministry had a part in and HE says it shall be forever.

We thank the Lord for 15 years of serving others through Weed & Seed, Chesterfield Christmas Mother and working with the wonderful people at Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority.   Thanks to the Lord HUM has ministered to 134 families (unknown number of children) throughout the 15 years of doing HUM Christmas.

Many good people served God through this ministry and were blessed and nurtured in serving others.

Hands Up Ministry will continue with me as an outreach ministry to the mission field of other nations.  We have help build two churches in the Dominican Republic as co-sponsors with a local church and we have also built one church in Mexico as the so sponsor.  Only God could do that through our small group of people

Missions Trip To Mexico

My dream now for 2016 is to return to Mezcala, Mexico and finish the church that was part of the vision of my friend Clinton Hendershot. The trip did not happen due to my daughter being treated for breast cancer; however, she is cancer free now and we can move on with a trip.

Pray for our churches in the Dominican Republic and Mexico
