This is how the church building looked before new construction.
Hands Up Ministry was represented by Sandy Witherspoon and Karen Page on a Work & Witness trip that completed the construction of a church for Jesus in the Dominican Republic on April 1-15, 2006. We had sufficient funds and manpower to complete the church except for the final stucco work which will be done by the native Dominicans. God gave us a vision to go according to the Great Commission. Other members of the team were made up by people from Varina Church of the Nazarene, Trinity Church of the Nazarene and our co-sponsor Chester Outreach Church of the Nazarene. Hands Up Ministry and Chester Outreach both raised $6000 to fund this church and each member of the team paid their own way at a cost of around $1300 including spending money.
